The shopping malls of the future; online marketplaces?

Dear  CMO goes TECH member, It’s time for our 13th CMO goes Tech event – and as usual, we’ll make sure to invite passionate thought-leaders and interesting speakers on stage. 


Tradera, CDON and Emakina will share their thoughts on Marketplaces. 


E-commerce giants like Amazon and Zalando boast huge third-party marketplaces online. These marketplaces offer ambitious business owners unique opportunities that traditional retail just can't match; instant access to billions of global consumers, a firm retail framework, a wealth of customer analytics, and software tools to assist sellers with inventory management, advertising pricing, fulfilment, and more.

Many people say that e-commerce will never completely replace in-store shopping. While blending online and offline consumer experiences could present a way to complement one another, we have a feeling that retailers are in a transition period and are still figuring out how in-store and online shopping best work together.

The event will take place via webinar link due to the current situation. We hope to be back with our normal events as soon as possible.

She has a background from the software industry and has been working with partner management for +5 years. Matilda has a degree in marketing communications and studied at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. Prior to joining CDON Matilda Svensson worked with Europeanpartnerships at inRiver.

Jelle Sybesma is the business unit manager of the marketplaces department of the Emakina group but is also active as a Senior Marketplaces consultant for international operating clients. With over 10+ years of experience in various e-Commerce disciplines, varying from Omni Channel Marketing, digital transformations, campaign management and e-commerce management, he is now working on the expansion of the Growht Department of the Emakina Group.

Pierre Norberg is Head of Sales and Marketing at Tradera with a solid background from  brands such as L'Oreal and many years at Tradera. 

Starting his career at the L´Orèal group within both sales and marketing Pierre then joined Tradera 5 years ago. He is in charge of both Sales and Marketing and has been a vital part of the Tradera growth journey during the last years.
